Hole 8
The entire hole sits on a ledge over Loon Lake. Wow is this hole pretty, dangerous I mean. Tree lined and full of length, number 8 is the toughest par 4 at The Loon. Lots of room left even though it is full of trees. It's easy to advance the ball from the left, even sometimes you might have a clear shot to the green. The fairway is larger than it looks but being left a little is best since the large oak tree forces some finesse if you’re behind it. Although the green is large it always seems difficult to maneuver the ball through the narrow opening in front. The best advice anyone can give you on hole number 8, "Right is wrong!"
