Hole 7
Back to the banks of Loon Lake is where this holes goes. A dogleg right that also requires an accurate tee shot to play this hole. You must not go right on any of the shots on this hole because the lake is sure to gobble your balls. The left side is framed with bunkers the entire length of the hole. Another touch of Pinehurst here with the Red Pines still everywhere. The green is very long but extremely narrow. From the front of the green to the back of the green is a plus or minus 3 clubs in your selection process so take a good look. The second shot has large bail out area left of green. There is zero tolerance on the right side of the green because the green slopes right and sits on a 20 foot ledge over Loon Lake. "Many a player makes mistakes here by trying to carry the ball right to the pin. Being short and chipping is one shot better then going long to the right."
